Independence Day
For the July 4th weekend we went to St. Louis and spent some time with family. On Friday we spent the morning and afternoon at my Grandma Muhleman's house. Julianne loved jumping on "Mull-mull"'s (Great Grandma Muhleman) bed, wearing "Mull-mull"'s shoes, and helping Daddy and "Uh-tuh Tee"(Uncle Steve)repair "Mull-mull"'s closet. We were able to visit with Julianne's Great-Grandma Northrip, who she now calls "Cha-cha" (short for Charlotte), "Bow-ee" (Aunt Valerie), and Mimi for the rest of the day. On Saturday we spent a good portion of the day with Gigi and Papa (Julianne's Grandma and Grandpa Mobley) and Daddy's Aunt, Uncle, and cousins and their families. One of Stephen's cousins has a little girl, Brookelyn, who is about a year older than Julianne. Julianne loved spending time with Brookelyn while we walked around Union Station. That evening we went up to my old elementary school's playground to watch fireworks. Julianne loved them and kept saying "boom" anytime they went off. Right during the firework finale it started raining and continued raining as we walked back to my mom's house. We were all quite wet, but had a great Independence day.
