The title pretty much sums up the big events of the last week. On Wednesday Julianne got to go to her first baseball game at Papa John's Stadium. We watched the Louisville Bats play the Toledo Mudhens. Before the game Julianne played on the playground inside the stadium and then rode the carousel with daddy. She enjoyed the game, but was not focused on the field. Instead she enjoyed roaming our somewhat open row of seats and climbing over anyone who would dare get in her way.

Julianne loves helping me out in the kitchen and often pulls up a chair to dump in ingredients, stir, or just make a mess. The other day she helped make rice krispie treats. I've been adding food coloring to make them a little more interesting. This time we made them red. When Stephen saw the pictures later, he remarked that the red rice krispie treats look a lot like raw ground beef. I had to admit that he was right and haven't been able to look at them the same way. This explanation is for those of you who look at the following pictures and think "Why is she letting her child eat raw ground beef?" It is NOT ground beef. It really is rice krispie treats. Anyway, Julianne and her friend, Shiloh, had fun cutting the treats into shapes and decorating them with sprinkles. The most fun part, though, was eating them!

I've also included some pictures of a Mother/Daughter date that Julianne and I took to the zoo on Friday night.
