We were blessed to have my mom (aka Grandma Bryant) come visit us at the end of last week through Easter. We had a wonderful time with her and got to relax and do lots of fun stuff while she was here. On Thursday my aunt and cousin came from Indianapolis and we had a yummy lunch at Lynn's Paradise Cafe and then shopped for fabric at Baer Fabric. Both are wonderful places! Friday was beautiful and warm so we spent a couple of hours at the Louisville Zoo. Julianne enjoyed looking at the animals, but had an even better time looking at the people, fences, fans, etc. The highlight of the zoo trip was getting to see a Mama and baby Wallaby. The baby just peeked it's head out of the mama's pouch just as we were getting ready to walk away. It was precious!

On Easter we went to church and had a joyous time of worship. It is so awesome to know that we serve a living Savior! After church we came home and had a very tasty meal (ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, and a bunny carrot cake). Our friends, Lee and Charity, came over for lunch too. We had a wonderful time visiting with them. Later that afternoon we took my mom to the airport to fly back to St. Louis.

It seemed like during my mom's visit Julianne just took off with her ability to move. She is now pulling up by herself (including in her crib), creeping along furniture and toys, and is crawling much more. She is a joy to watch and keeps me quite busy! Here are some pictures.

Bunny Carrot Cake

Sitting on an elephant- I didn't care much to sit on it, but metal elephants sure do feel good on the gums when you're teething

Gorillas playing

Looking up at the fans- they're much more interesting than gorillas

Who cares about zebras when there is a fence to be held on to

These shoes go perfectly with my outfit
