We are finally getting back on a schedule and feeling rested from our trip this past weekend. Last week my mom came to Louisville and spent part of the week with us. We had a blast hanging out with her. She drove Julianne and I back with her to St. Louis on Thursday. On Friday morning Julianne and I, along with Julianne's Grandma and Grandpa Mobley and Grandma Bryant, flew to Oklahoma City where we quickly rented a car and drove to Enid, Oklahoma where Julianne and I attended a wedding rehearsal. Julianne was the flower girl and I sang in the wedding. On Saturday we enjoyed a leisurely morning at the hotel and then attended my friend, Stacy's, wedding. Julianne had a blast being pulled down the aisle in a little red wagon and she looked so cute. Stacy's wedding was beautiful and we enjoyed getting to visit with many friends. On Sunday we drove back to Oklahoma City where we flew back to St. Louis, where I then flew back to Louisville. Now all of this flying might not sound like a big deal, but flying without any kind of identification is a whole other story. When I was checking in at the airport on Friday I realized that my wallet was not in my purse. To make a long story short, my wallet had fallen out of my purse at a restaurant in Mount Vernon, Illinois, which was of little help to the security personnel at the airport. So during this long weekend of flying I became accustomed to pat downs, questions such as, "Are you sure you don't have any kind of i.d.?", extra paper work, and the stares of onlookers thinking I was some kind of criminal. Really the whole process was not that bad. It was just a little annoying. To add to the stress of the traveling process Julianne's and my flight to Louisville was delayed two and a half hours which meant we didn't get into Louisville until 1:30 a.m. I was never so happy to be home again! Here are some pictures from the weekend.
